Dr. Shayne Durbin, D.C.

Billings, MT Chiropractor

Dr. Shayne Durbin was born and raised in Lewistown, Montana. In the fall of 2011, he enrolled at Carroll College, where he majored in Health Sciences and Public Health. In addition to his academic studies, Shayne played for the Fighting Saint’s football team. He played linebacker and served as a team captain.  Dr. Durbin continued his academic career at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. Palmer is the Fountain Head of Chiropractic. Shayne graduated from Palmer in February of 2020. He graduated in the top of his class and was awarded The Academic Excellence Award.

Dr. Durbin had a very unique clinical experience, he was selected to take part in a clinical rotation at the VA Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa. He considers himself very fortunate to have had the privilege of serving the men and women of the Armed Forces. In addition to serving the Vets, Dr. Durbin went on 3 Chiropractic Mission Trips to Haiti and Dominican Republic. These trips impacted his life in a major way. So, much so that he plans to continue to make service trips as a doctor. Shayne enjoyed his time in the Midwest, but always knew Montana was home. When the opportunity arose to get back to Montana sooner than anticipated, he jumped on it. In the fall of 2019, Shayne moved to Billings. He had the pleasure of interning with Dr. Robert Larson for the last 3 months of his time at Palmer. Dr. Durbin is incredibly thankful for the mentorship that Dr. Larson provided. Dr. Larson has been practicing Chiropractic for over 50 years and is a wealth of knowledge.
Shayne would like to recognize some of his mentors in the chiropractic profession, Dr. Mitch Mally, Dr. Tim Young, Dr. Gina Bonavito-Larragoite, and Dr. Erik Norslien. Dr. Durbin also has the priviledge of working alongside Dr. Grey Gardner, the owner of Van Chiropractic Clinic in town.

Outside the clinic you can find Dr. Durbin exploring all that Montana has to offer from hunting and fishing to biking and running. Dr. Durbin is looking forward to serving you and your family.

Our Philosophy

We place a large emphasis on the never stop learning mantra at our office. We value education because it promotes a new level of thinking and understanding that will help enhance our patient’s outcomes. It is important for us to know ‘why’ our patients want to get healthy and stay healthy.

Our philosophy is built upon the framework that our body is intelligently designed and has the ability to heal. However, there are times when this healing process is impeded. The central nervous system controls and regulates every single function of our body. When there is abnormal communication taking place between our brain and body, problems occur.

We strive to get to the root of the problem and not just the symptoms.
